Hausla is an N.G.O (Non – Government Organization) established in the year 2012 with an aim to help the gifted children in Nashik District lead a better life.
We aim to bring society together to show compassion and appreciation towards differently-abled kids and help enrich their lives.
We believe that in every human being, abilities are what matter and not disabilities! We aim to bring various gifted children (Physically handicapped, mentally challenged, Blind, etc) together and give them an opportunity to interact with citizens from all walks of life. Our endeavor is to bring all sorts of disabled students together and give them a platform to display their skills to society and get appreciation & support.
Harish Baijal Sir, who has been a senior policeman by profession and has been passionate about cycling for many years, took the lead in starting ‘Hausla NGO’ in 2011. The establishment of Hausla NGO is the brainchild of Harish Baijal sir. He is a Mentor of the Hausla NGO.
His attitude of always helping all kinds of people in society is reflected in his behavior from time to time.
While working for these special children in society, Baijal sir always guides many new concepts like marathons for special children, cleanliness drives in the city, educational activities, programs for special children, and charity initiatives.
As a whole, they are making a lot of efforts to reduce the gap between two different types of people in society and ensure equal treatment for all.
The enthusiasm of young volunteers in Hausla is always boosted by a great mentor like Harish Baijal sir.
Tejas Chavan, who is a nature lover, social worker as well as a businessman, has been very fond of social service since an early age, a quality inherited from his father.
Tejas started Hausla NGO in 2011 with the feeling that we should do something for the ‘special children’ like the blind, disabled, deaf, and hard of hearing as well as children from poor families. Then he and some of his friends got together and organized small and big activities for these special children.
They go to such schools working for special children in Nashik city, take them along, and help their students either financially or in kind.
The entire young team of Hausla is working with Tejas for these children through special children’s marathons, tree plantation, organ donation, fundraising through the music program ‘Avaaz’, school beautification, cleanliness drive and beautification in the city, and many other activities.
